Trinity College London Press to launch in April

 

Trinity’s music publishing business will start trading as a separate company, Trinity College London Press, on 1 April 2016.

Alongside the current range of Trinity publications that support music exams, TCL Press will offer new titles that present a wider range of engaging pieces for musicians at all stages of their learning. All titles, as now, will be produced with a focus on excellence in editorial and production quality.

TCL PressStuart Pearce, Director, Music Publishing, said: ‘We look forward to offering retailers an inspiring choice of titles, introducing new composers and repertoire to encourage and support creative musical teaching, learning and performance.’

New titles published by Trinity College London Press include:

Piano Dreams

Translated from previously published German editions, Piano Dreams offers an original collection of music by the popular German composer Anne Terzibaschitsch for both solo pianists and duettists. Covering music of beginner to intermediate level, Piano Dreams weaves elements of storytelling into the music, with imaginative titles and lively illustrations. Two solo and two duet volumes are available from April.

Raise the Bar

A three-volume collection of the most popular pieces from past Trinity piano syllabuses, accompanied by informative teaching notes, this series is designed to help pianists expand their repertoire and discover music from different styles and periods. Raise the Bar will also be available in April. The series will expand to include three-volume editions for both violin (2016) and guitar (2017).

2016 will also see the publication of graded exam books, including audio recordings, for both flute and clarinet for the first time. This includes Initial exams which are newly offered for these instruments.
