Syllabus extensions for Music and Drama

In light of the pandemic, Trinity has extended various syllabuses earlier in the year. Here’s a quick summary.

Music

The following classical graded syllabuses overlap period has been extended until 31 July 2021:

  • Strings 2016-2019 Syllabus
  • Percussion 2017-2019 Syllabus
  • Guitar 2016-2019 Syllabus

The following classical and jazz graded syllabuses overlap period has been extended until 31 December 2022:

  • Woodwind 2017-2020 syllabus
  • Jazz Woodwind 2017-2020

New syllabuses will be published in 2021 and will take effect from January 2022.

As usual, candidates may play pieces and technical work from either the old or the new syllabus, but not a combination of the two.

In addition, extended the validity of the current set works for Music Theory Diplomas AMusTCL and LMusTCL. In the February 2021 and May 2021 sessions candidates will be able to answer questions on either the current set works or the set works listed for 2021 onwards.

Drama

The Drama graded syllabuses have also been extended until 31 May 2021.
